Using the techniques detailed on our Utility Location Services page, our experienced Rural Utility Locators can locate, identify and mark out all services and underground cables (power, fiber, telecoms, etc) on your lifestyle block, farm or orchard. If requested, we can provide full, GPS aided GIS Utility Maps, detailing the exact location and depths of each of these services.
Ground Scan NZ are leaders in Irrigation Tracing & Mapping.
Using Electromagnetic Induction tools, we can trace irrigation lines from 13mm and up. The line is marked out on the ground surface, along with depth measurements at pre-determined intervals.
We then use the latest GPS equipment to map the entire network, producing a fully interactive map showing the precise location and depth of the network across the whole property.

Ground Scan NZ are experts of Rural Water Leak Detection and Repairs.
Using a combination of Utility Location and Acoustic Leak Detection technologies, we can locate buried water lines and pin-point areas of water loss. We can then expose the line and carry out any remedial work required to stop the leak.
Our experienced technicians carry an extensive range of fittings, so they are prepared to remedy the situation without delays.
Depending on the specific needs of each client, our project deliverables range from onsite above-ground surface markings, to full-site, GPS-aided, network Surface Mapping.
Unless otherwise agreed, deliverables are made available, via a dedicated and secure shared drive, by 9am the morning after the job was undertaken.
