Ground Scan NZ was created with a vision to provide our mighty Waikato with a region-wide, locally-based provider of Underground Utility Location Services.
The beginning of 2022 saw us enter the market to unprecedented demand. As we eagerly took on increasing numbers of projects, our client base steadily increased.
February 2022 kicked off with the arrival of our new, state-of-the-art, Mikron3 Leak Detection Equipment all the way from the UK (via Christchurch). This technology has drastically reduced the time and effort required to locate underground leaks and is sure to be a very popular service.

The Ground Scan NZ team grows with the addition of Jason Shortcliffe - team member 001! With a background in civil infrastructure and utilities installation, Jason brought with him a wealth of knowledge to the team.
In December 2023 we launched the TrenchRight brand providing Safe Trenching Solutions for tradies across the Waikato.
Ground Scan NZ officially announces a partnership with the team at Seam Surveys for the provision of GPS Utility Mapping, CAD Subsurface Modelling and UAV (Drone) Services.
